Spy Sweeper May Have Done It.

Well, as a follow up to my other post about an fps problem, I think I may have found the problem. Just for the heck of it I turned off my Webroot Spysweeper and my fps scores came back full strength. I didnt realize that a spyware program with active shields could have an impact on fps rates. Anyone else ever run into something like this?
 
Did it always do it with it running? or did it spike. If the program is scanning your disk or memory, it would make your fps go to crap
 
One of the shields that spysweeper runs is a 'memory' sweeper', so that may have had something to do with it. I've only had spysweeper installed for a 3 or 4 days, but I thought I had played a few games since then without any trouble. Either way, turning off the spyware protection while playing games seems to have fixed the problem.
