DVD on media player?

A while back a friend gave me a dell comp with a bad mobo. I fixed it but had no software for it. To use windows media player to play dvd I found free codecs on the web and it works fine. My daughter has cineplayer on her win me comp. She doesnt like it. Can anyone help me set up her wm9 to play dvd? The codecs i got for my dell only work on xp.

Installed k-lite on my daughters rig (win me) and now it plays dvd on media player classic . Thanks.

i just went on limewire (P2P) and downloaded powerdvd. It gives WMP a decoder and works great! You can also buy it, but i didn't bother...
