Well, I already ordered the XFX. I did look for thre eVGA though, as i do have an eVGA myself and am quite happy. But was unable to find it, so I went and ordered the XFX. Now I will just havce to wait and I can answer all of my own questions about it.

Him, Theres nothing wrong with the the XFX 6600gt, i have one and it's fantastic. Take a look at the links below......

I have one two, infact, this is my second.

1st one caused random reboots

Now on my second one, it's working good but im having a problem with lines occasionally appearing. I should test it to make sure it's not my OC, since they kinda dissipeared and I lowered the speed at the same time

So, from what I'm understanding, if i dont OC (which I didnt plan too anyway) I shoouldnt have problems.

but dont evga 6600GT's have slower memory clock sppeds than say...a gigabyte 6600GT?
I know they do have one that has an insane OC on the memory, but the eVGAs can easily get as high especially after letting it burn in after a week or so

Wait 'til you get it, you'll want ot OC it ;) It's just too damn easy :p

Yeah, but it's not for me. It's for a client. I do want to OC her machine, because if I'm not there and something is to go wrong... OC'ing a machine for anyone other than yourself isnt that great of an idea.

This should go down in the books... My 420th post. Truly an epic event. And 2 hours before April 20!
