Abits generally overclock well. they arent DFIs,but they are quite good for OCing.

As for processor cooling I was gonna get him a water cooling system but the prices on a sys like that might be just a bit too high lmao.

Probably go with a tower heatpipe cooler from coolermaster or something along those lines...

Anyone have any suggestions for a good solid case that doesnt let much noise through?

True the ram latency doesnt matter much in terms of bandwidth, its more psychological hehehehe
