Multiple vulnerabilities that could allow an attacker to install malicious code or steal personal data have been discovered in the Mozilla Suite and the Firefox open-source browser.

Details of the nine flaws were published on Mozilla's security Web site over the weekend.

Ian Latter, senior security consultant at Internet security specialist Pure Hacking, said most of the vulnerabilities are based on the way the applications handle JavaScript.

So.. I'm lmao at all of you firefox lovers out there that always tried to say how much better firefox was.. it was only time that would tell how good a program it was.. so now people are targeting everyone's beloved "so secure" explorer, what do you have to say for yourselves.. Of course all programs have security holes and yada yada, but come on.. this program was supposed to rock IE's world.. at least, that's what all the users told me:D

(I still hate IE more though)

Wow Firefox has had 3-4 possible exploits. IE has had more than I could count. IE sucks.

Anyways all software has security flaws in it, some are harder to exploit than the others.

That's like people saying IE is a horrible piece of buggy, insecure software just because of one vulnerability, or that a serial killer isn't such a bad guy because he help and old lady cross the street.

what you guy don't get it is....

it still safer than IE. IE has beeen exploited 413,548,358,698 times
compare to 20 for firefox.

Last time I checked firefox addresses their issues and come out with immediate fixes. For years microsuck ignored theirs problems or they will take their sweet time addressing them.

And the reason I said it is because I knew some noob would try to use that as their defense.. nice try anyways uzi
