ok i have 2 questions..first question
sempron or celeron?
and wheres a good site i can get a computer for $500 max??
im not buying..my mom is so i cant go all out with money..plz not newegg their expensive for pc's

first, wtf u smoking?, newegg is the cheapest place

second, what will you be doing with this comp?

Thirdly, are you willing to build one? You can save loads if you do.

My vote goes for the sempron, but I always liked them for some strange reason. Either would do the job of general use just as well as the other, so go for the cheapest, unless your Mum does gaming.

Yeah is this for gaming or office app's?

A while ago I was thinking Intel was beating out AMD at sempron vs celeron, you may want to check up on that.

And can you build your own PC, as well as newegg is THE CHEPEST

I'm assuming that his mom doesn't game TOO much...

edit: the wording isn't clear, I may have misinterpreted.

I would get the first one because it is a lot easier to work on/clean a regular-sized case as opposed to a shuttle case. Plus you will probably have fewer heat issues.

Get the Sempron. It comes fully stocked with everything you need. The Shuttle is too expensive and has the least amount of parts, and though the P4 is nice, it dosnt have all you need.

What parts do you already have?

And have you even checked newegg?
