spyware program?

im talking about for future use. i havent used a crack in about 2 months now.

Back when I was still using IE I tried many anti-spy programs. Webroot SpySweeper was the best.

I've never had spyware in with my cracks I download. It's the sites themselves that have spyware/downloaders/ etc. Just don't hit yes or no, click the X, use a popup blocker, etc. and you will be fine, I use those sites constantly and I'm free of any garbage, porn sites realy dont have that much, if any at all, spyware, as what I see or run into. Before you open a crack you download, scan it before running it, virus and spyware scan. Post the link you are having trouble with.

SkyHi is true about sites being shut down.

Happened to a forum I went to, well it just got DOS'ed and forced into submission, than the legal.

I use three, because one always misses something the other will pick up. I use Spybot Search & Destroy, Adaware SE, and Microsoft Anti-Spyware. All are free..

I do likewise, except i use http://spywareguide.com/txt_onlinescan.html instead of Adaware SE.

I like the Ad-Aware Se Pro version with the registry blocking tool, very handy if you ask me
I also use Spybot and Hijackthis, I think those are pretty much the standard on the net lately, other than the Microsoft beta Spyware gadget.

i use spybot and ad-aware. seem to be workin' fine for me.

how does spybot run?? like, ad-aware shows that it goes though all your directories and stuff and spybot just seems to be lookin' for key words or something?

If you're asking about like.. what is blocks undos, etc... it checks for.... 5012 specific items, I believe, that's it. It's not really worth what it is.. IMO. I'd just go with manually removin spyware, it's more fun, but time consuming.
