22 pin PSU and 24 pin PSU

If a crappy power supply cant supply enough power, the PC wont turn on.

Try limiting the output on a PS and see how long a PC stays on...

I didnt buy a worthless power supply people. Thats not the problem. THe problem is that the computer wont start up some im trying to figure out whether the problem truely is i was sold a faulty PSU or a faulty mobo.

Thanks for bashing me and not helping at all.

The power supply doesn't have to be faulty. It could simply be not adaquete for your setup like chris said.

We are suggesting you get a better power supply not really bashing you.

are you sure it's a 22 pin connector instead of a 20 pin? 20 and 24 are very common

i have an adapter coming in the mail. been gaming on my pc anyway and it started acting up. I think the problem is one of two things, overheating, or something related to the fact I have a 20 pin plug in my 24 pin mobo.
