for that, don't worry about it. There is nothign you can do about people sending stuff to you at work. I got an email from my little brother with naked pictures in it. No big deal. Just delete it. and let them know where to send it next time. You will not get in trouble for that.
You can go to sleep now.

People should know better....
The Echange system, depending on which version can contain the email permantly or for only x days for a purge cycle. The server doesn't have infinate space, so they will want to clean off junk. This included deleted items. Now, if you are running verision 2002 or 2003 then you will want to delete your recover deleted items data so that it's not there either. Aside from that there isn't much left for you to do. Just curious though, what was it that you sent? or recieved?
Well, it's "unlimited" in the sense that if they make a backup (which they will, being good network admins), then the email will always be with the company.

Unless you have administrator access, the e-mail is out there..
Oh geez....

If you were the admin, and you went in and dorked with the backups...and someone found out, you'd not just be without a job. You'd probably get yer arse nailed to the wall in court.

Just as a side note, a company that is not (now) archiving records of their company email activity, is violating that whole mess of laws that came up after ENRON hit the fan. Word to the wise, if yer company ain't doing it now, get started. You'll be happier for it.
