Newegg is doing a sale on the MSI K8N mobo which is usually about 160 and is now 140. I was going to go with the DFI Lanpartry because it is so well reviewed here but i heard MSI is good and that the DFI was kinda hard for n00bs like me. So tell me what you think. Since both are same price right now i'm thinking about the MSI if its more user friendly. I know everone will try to tell me DFI but keep in mind i probably won't overclock and i don't see a port for my monitor? And do either of them have HD connections for both SATA and IDE? Thanks.

I think the review on these two MOBO's is 6 of 1 & 1/2 dozen of the other. They are both great MOBO's. It's just a matter of personal preference.

Flip a coin...

A motherboard is a motherboard is a motherboard. There all they same, in terms of set up. If you like the DFI board get it.

ive got the MSI one. i like it a lot, no problems with it. havent tried OCing it yet, so cant tell u if its a good OCer. u cant go wrong with either board.

then only reall problems with the DFI mobo is people buying junk ram, Stay away from any "value ram" and you shouldnt have a problem. I used the DFI lanparty mobo for my first build and did not have a problem with setting it up, and after almost a month and 1/2 no problems with it. Plus the UV reactive slots are hella cool! :) But its all up to you both boards are great.
