How about a good DVD burner?

Ok, so I want a DVD drive that can make good backups of my DVD collection, so I can leave my originals at home and not have to worry about them getting destroyed at my frat while at college (I've learned others dont care about your stuff as long as they arent paying...)

My friend likes that model too, which I mentioned in a similar thread. That said, others appear to have strong opinions against it.

how about a Pioneer DVR-107, DVR-108, or DVR-109??? They all look pretty nice to me.

I don't have experience with them myself, but I've been told that Pioneers are some of the best drives available. They're also the most expensive ones we sell (in this case, the 109).

In the duplicators we sell with Wytron cards, some of the lower-end drives (like BenQ) don't work as well.

if your looking for dvd backup i wouldn't look any farther.

BenQ1620 is your choice.

with it's bit setting options you have the best possible playback.

of course you will want to use good media also.
