With 5-5-5-7 timings they reached 587MHz or DDR2-1174

Yeah, all you'd need is a like 6x multiplier and you'd have like a 3.5GHz CPU speed with a FSB speed like that. =/

DDR2 is still asking for a bit too much mucho though I'm afraid.

Man I'm nowhere close to any of these people that have something to brag about. It must be nice to be able to exclaim about something most can't do even if it's not a world record per se

EDIT: BTW - their FSB wasn't that high, a 'mere' 297, but they had their ratio at 1:2 which if you ask me is kind of a waste since that'd be an insane bottleneck, but lol, I don't know what the chances of getting 587 1:1 would be haha, I assume very unlikely
