Corsair and Kingston have recently release a few higher speed DDR2 Memory Modules. (675Mhz - 750Mhz - 800Mhz) Some of these modules can be overclocked as high as 866Mhz.
I'm kinda wondering when "in months or years" will DDR2 become mainstream and DDR will start to phase out. Now it seems that DDR400MHz is pretty much the standard. And if it's from a good company it's a damn good performer. But, imagine if you could double the performance for a few extra dollars. When do you think MOBO makers will begin going more DDR2 mainstream?
