If the fans do work when the mobo light comes on then try letting it set for 10 min, i had this problem, turned out to be a dead battery that needed charged up a little....

Those batteries take a loooooooooong ass time to die though. I'm sure during all his troubleshooting though charles it's sat there for more than 10 mins at a time not to mention when he goes to sleep lol
