Video Card and Plasma TV

What video card would I want to to play some big time games on my 42" plasma TV? Would i be able to stretch the Desktop screen to 16:9 and still have it look good?

yeah, but keep in mind Plasma's don't support the best resolutions. I know the marketing promo's push them to be the "best" tv's, but they're just a step in the evolution.

Just go S-vid out (on your card) to svid on your TV. Then in your cards advanced properties you should have a tab that sets it up. Just don't be disapointed when it doesn't look like you thought it would. When LCD TV's get bigger and cheaper, you'll get what you want.

some support 1024x768 or whatever that is...isnt that the same as a computer monitor? if you have the video card set up to those specs
