Molex

Im sure you all know about those molex connectors on your psu's. But how the hell do I get those things off. I know theres a tool I can buy but I dont wanna waste money on it if im only gonna use it once. So have you people ever used something around the house or modded something to remove them?

the tool can't be more than like $5 if that dude, just buy it. I don't think there is way or atleast an 'easy' and effective way to get them off.

I'd use the tool.

If you are planning on using something around the House get something which is skinny enough to fit down the side of the Molex connecters which can un-clip then from the actual Molex, I advise using the tool over anything because if you have done it before it really is a pain to remove them without the tool.

Ok im just gonna buy it then. I wrote this post because I found a hand cuff key layin around. It would of worked if it didnt have that notch on the side and was a bit smaller.

Theres the universal one for $3.99 to allow working on the male and female ends of the molex connectors.

Some people like to remove them to put on colored ends, or put LED's in them.
