XPpro/SP2. Have BTOpenworld browser broadband including Yahoo! Messenger/BTCommunicator 6.0 and have all sorts of problems with it.
1. Cannot remove a profile
2. Setting up audio, sound out is OK, but nothing from microphone (which works OK with MSN Messenger)
3. WebCam says I am behind a ffirewall even when my Sygate firewall is disabled and "UseVFW" is added to registry - again no problem with MSN Messenger 7.0

I have temprarily removed it from my computer

Has anyone got a clue what is the problem/cure

1. Reinstall Yahoo Messenger for the profile removing.

2. Fiddle with options in Yahoo Messenger and...make sure mic isn't muted.

3. Maybe the windows firewall is still on or yahoo messenger has a built-in firewall.

Use the newest version of yahoo.

now as for audio there are settings in your preferences to fix the mic.

as for the cam... i do not know... let me think about it and ill post back
