yeah my bad, I didn't mean to imply that you were completely wrong or anything. just wanted to make sure there wasn't a possibility of confusion :) I believe Seagate and Western Digital still produce ATA100 drives and to make sure I mentioned that ;)

GrimReaper23, which cables do you have hooked to the drives when they are being detected?
