I never said it didn't support 66 or 100, I merely pointed out that it allows for the higher 133 which is optimal and the older IDEs would be...as I said...a slower transfer rate, assuming your drive could even send up to 133 speeds which is generally a hard drive

yeah my bad, I didn't mean to imply that you were completely wrong or anything. just wanted to make sure there wasn't a possibility of confusion I believe Seagate and Western Digital still produce ATA100 drives and to make sure I mentioned that

GrimReaper23, which cables do you have hooked to the drives when they are being detected?
