Is there a way to save Windows Update files and burn them to CD or DVD? I have automatic updates turned off and instead use the scan computer feature of Windows Update Catalog so I can pick and choose which updates to install. I want to be able to burn them and make it more easily accessible if I ever do a reinstall.

AutoPatcher is a tool you can burn to CD that launches on any machine (XP) they also make one for windows 2K. You pop the CD in and launch the built in run-from-cd program, and it will give you the option of installing exactly what updates you want/need, out of every possible update released, plus some extra cool tools that are cool too. Check it yo.

It also can be run from across a network. You can store it on your server and launch from a client machine.
