Can speakers interfere or damage hard drive

I would suggest putting rubber feet under the laptop to elevate it above the ground a bit, so that some of the heat can escape

I doubt the hard drives are actually dead, they just have corrupt data

Several Resent Studies have shown that men who frequently use a notebook computer and rest it on their laps, have a high risk of infertility. LOL - Although i'm not should that's your Harddrive problem.

It's very unlikely that your speakers are causing your HDD to malfunction, unless you have powerful subwoofers right next to it, that aren't manufactured with magnetic shielding.

I currently have my subwoofer next to my PC, and thankfully, it's not too powerful and is shielded. Everything is well so far .

For the most part, in order for the speakers to hurt ur comp, they have to be logitech z-5500s and a inch away from the comp. a foot or 2 should be sufficient.
