Ahh...there are 4 of them....which #??
I have downloaded 8 in the past and nothing happened....
this time I downloaded #1, and it seemed that it did something....and install creative card.
I should reboot my comp. and see.

I don't know you but I'm so greatful to you!!!! I can finally here some songs here...

I wasn't sure where is the old driver...

now, I can listen to music, finally!!!! but....new problem...when I inser audio CD into the cdrom, it gives me the message "device is not ready.... so I can listen to music one song at a time (I open the CD)
when there is a data CD I don't get the message...
Am I having a total "computer collapse"???? that's upsetting.
I had to uninstall the new windows media player version after I installed the driver. and now I'm using the "old version" that comes with Windows.
Movies are still running at high speed...
Maybe it is crucial I remove the old driver. Do I also have to reinstall the whole computer...??? :-( or parts of it...?

u could.. itd most likely fix ur problem but itd also be a pain =)
so here is what i suggest.. uninstall all ur audio drivers.. and re install the one that worked if u like.. (if not just leave the one that works) then for the speed... are the sounds the same speed? or is there no sound? and what are u using to view ur movies...?
also.. open ur device manager and find ur cd rom drive.. see if it reports any errors
hope that helped

here is a question from a virgin tachie - where are the drivers found???
I have no idea how to uninstall the old ones...
Thanks for your help!!!
