I'm looking ot build me a new gaming computer but I'm not really sure what parts I should buy or what is compatible with each other. I'm looking to spend somewhere around 900-1000. I already have a 6600gt so I won't be needing a video card but everything else I will need. Do you guys have any suggestions?

leaves you money to get a nice case, and making the inside nice. If you want to, you could get performance ram, but if you are not overclocking there is no point.

Ooops! You forgot the vid card. An eVGA 6600GT goes for $175 on newegg, but everything else that Trifid picked out looks good to me.

*Slaps head*

I read it pretty quick and thought he said that he was thinking about getting one.

Very well then, the system that Trifid built for you was good.
