My computer started acting up today. It kept popping up with an icon saying that windows had detected an unknown UBS device. At the time, I had no USB devices plugged in. When I sat down tonight I plugged in my thumb drive to get a paper for school off of it. About 5 seconds after plugging it in my computer shut off and now it will not turn on. I am getting no power at all. Any Ideas?

Computer:
AMD64 3400+
Motherboard- ZNF3-250

you gotta install the USB drivers that came with your chaintech mobo

but shutting down and not turning on? uh oh..

Take out the USB plugs, or did u use the onboards???
i remember my computer has lost power after pulling out a USB in the past.. but it turned on again after about 5mins.

hmm.. maybe something surged.. if u used the front ones, they are connected to ur mobo so take them out

you COULD try the back usb?

btw, aren't the front usb's connected to the mobo? as VIII suggested, you can try unpluggin' them

hmm, perhaps clearing cmos and disconnecting the 20pin connector off your mobo.

I have heard strange things about psus having imagined shorts after something goes wrong with usb/firewire.

lemme see if I can find somethin to help you out
