I found this registry key that allows people with GeForce cards to change the frequencies of the card, essentially overclocking, now on my GeForce FX 5600 (256meg) card, I uped the speed of the core clock (3D) from 325mhz to 345mhz, and Memory clock from 400mhz to 435mhz, now i didn't think it would change a lot, but it actually smoothed out my gaming experience very noticably... my scores on 3Dmark01 went up about 800 points and on 3Dmark03, my score went up a good 600 points.. so i'm quite happy... be careful with overclocking your card though, it'll pop =) i have good air cirrculation though..
good luck =)
