Well, things arent all that great over here. My computer is running at record high temps, for no apparent reason. At first i though it was becuase of springs presents.... But after observation under chilly weather, i learned not. My cpu is running extremely HOT! At moments while under the same conditions my CPU would run at 18-22 degrees celcius....im now hitting 44-46 degrees celcius! At stock speeds/IDLE/ 2.4ghz of course!!! When my computer was OC to 2.62ghz a week ago, i would hit around 42 degrees celcius under heavy conditions... Now im killing that temp at stock speeds at IDLE....
After that night of intense OC, harsh testing, and OC failures.. Im certain it took a toll on my CPU. I think i slightly burned it out, not by temps. Just everything that came with OC. I had my computer long enough, so i could just guess my temps under certain task and be currect. Now my temps are fuvk!ng sky high..... I will admit, the toll has to do with my progressive OC. But as everyone knows, its also random for the CPU itself.
I never heard of a processor just deciding to run hot. But under those harsh conditions, theirs a certain probability. I know enough about computers to tell, theirs nothing i can do.. Without upgrading my cooling system. I mean my cooling system, is a really good air setup. Under stock cooling, i know for a fact my system wouldent even boot-up. I would be at around 80 degrees celcius on stock cooling. When im at stock speeds (2.4ghz) while gaming, im hitting 55-64 degrees celcius. Im just wondering how long my cpu will hold up.....
I know theirs nothing i can do, but has any every experienced anything like this?
