Dumb Question

I've been considering getting an LCD, but I can't find one that has a high res for less than $700. I've been hearing that CRT is the way to go for gaming anyway. Correct?

CRT's tend to have better colors, meaning, colors shown more correctly. I know that when I went from CRT to LCD at first it took a bit getting used to, but now it works great really. They are nice and light and compact for the most part, that's why I like it, but yes overall technically a CRT will display a game more crisp and clear.

i just switched form a CRT to an LCD and the biggerst plus is the amount of desk space an LCD give you, you will be amazed! Yeah teh LCD doesn't look quite as good but now that i'm used to it i dont really notice.
