How good is the 6600gt

i have someone that is willing to buy my video card for 40 bucks and want to know if the 6600gt will be able to play games like farcry and half life 2 on the HIGHEST settings. my processor is an a64 3800 so no problems there.

For me 2xAA and 4xAINSF on HL2 maxed out 1024x768, any higher and i see slowdowns.

Farcry I dont run AA but I guess i should try.

What about higher resolutions? I play halflife 2 at everything max and 2x aa and 2x af, as it will ensure I get no slow downs. but my recomended is at 4x and 8x, with everything maxed, but water I can feel a slow down of about 60 maybe a bit below.
