I have a 512 stick of pc3200 and it says it is Cas latency 3 on the stick, now I know if I buy a pc2700 it will run both at 2700, but what about CL? Does the same go for it?

Ah, and also I had ordered this computer with pc2700 but it had a sticker (the lower sticker on the ram) that said pc3200, but a top sticker that flaked off that said ddr333 (pc2700). Which one would you trust? And also EVEREST said it was pc3200.

Well if everest says it's PC3200 then I guess you lucked out or something.

Use CPU-Z though it's more realiable an will tell you that info.

When PC3200 is underclocked the timings will be tighter, so chances are that PC3200 with CL 3 would be 2.5 if it got underclocked to 2700 speeds.
Cas latency isn't that important though dude. It has the least effect on bandwidth than all the numbers

Cas latency and cycle time have little to no effect on performance.

The ras to cas and ras precharge do. (download CPU-Z, look at the memory tab and you'll see what numbers I mean)
