Benchmarks?

i have a quick question i know trhat this has to do with oc what is a benchmark program and what this 3DMARK03 and Aquamark stuff and anthor quick question im buying soon a 6600gt and i would like to oc it and i would like to know a mobo that it will support it oc and soket a thanks.

any modern AGP motherboard should support a 6600 gt. And you will be able to OC it anyway, that's not dependent on the motherboard.
3dmark becnhmarks your computer meaning it tests how well it performs and give you a score you can compare to others. It runs visual display to test how well your computer handles games.
