Did anyone have any experience with PLEXTOR DVD-WRITERS? I am planning to buy one this Christmas and looking around for iformation. I will either choose a Pioneer or a Plextor. Any help greatly appreciated.

But im guessing there is a big price difference between the Plextor and the LG's????
if so how much (estimated, aust $).
Also MicroBell which are your actual comp stats?

Plextor CD-Burners sell for $150 CAD and DVD-Burners for $320 CAD. From all the reviews that I have read and according to the retailers and resellers opinions that I listened to, "NO ONE BEATS PLEXTOR IN QUALITY".

lol ok then fair enough . lol and it might be a good idea to get a new sound card, the on board Realtek AC97 kinda sucks
