Nice review there. The new SSE3 instructions really help out. lol it even PWNS the Fx-53 in the 3dmark05 CPU test, but the dude is kind of confused on that one lol. All in all it outscores the winchester in every test sometimes marginally though.

For all who don't know, the venice is exactly like the winchester core except the venice has the new SSE3 instructions added.

It has a low temp bug though meaning it doesn't like to work at -90C....darn....I'll never run my venice at -90C lol...it does however easily OC up to 2.8GHz with a good water cooling setup.

Overall it's a good core

probably around the price of a winchester, perhaps more since it's new.

What do you mean theres nothing in the new link? The main purpose was this part:

Venice 3000+, Venice 3200+, Venice 3500+ and Venice 3800+ should start shipping on April 4, 2005;
San Diego 4000+ should start shipping on April 15, 2005

There's 3 or 4 cores technically now.

New Castle
Winchester
Venice
San Diego
