i'm pretty sure someone has tried?

mobile pentium M's use as low as 0.9xx V and up to 1.2xx V; how OC-able are they?

well in a desktop with some rippin cooling i think you can take pretty high, nubius would know alot about it although he's on an amd mobile.

I know nothing of mobile Intels :D nor have I heard of anyone doing it like the XP-M's are so popularly used

I don't think overclocking a laptop would be that good of an idea........they don't have that great of airflow, ability to hold good heatsink fans, and plus everything is all packed tight together.

they aren't talking about overclocking a laptop.

They are talking about using a mobile processor in a desktop system.

For AMD's its an awesome way to save money and get a lot of performance

Yup ;)

Athlon XP 3200+ is the 'best' processor for a socket A system at 2.2GHz 512kb L2 cache and about $150

For around $90 you can get an XP-Mobile like me, and it overclocks like mad. Same L2 cache, I got mine running 2.6GHz easy like ;)

are you on wcing nubius?

how hot is it at?

what's the highest non mobile speed you're out benched?
