Question About Power Supply's

yeah as for the original question, I wouldn't want a stock power supply being in charge of all my components. If it surges, bye bye computer. My friend's computer got fried recently. lol

I am "assuming" that the good companies have good surge protection built in. I haven't looked at the insides of one personally - but it's a good bet.
