WOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea windows 64 bit is great, too bad there aren't many programs or games to take advantage of it. But if you look around there are some cool things out there.
I'm currently running the following in 64 bit:

.NET framework 2.0 beta 64 bit
Java 5.0 beta 64 bit
ATI catalyst drivers 64 bit
Creative audigy sound drivers 64 bit
Nforce4 drivers 64 bit
Avast! Antivirus 64 bit
Pinball 64 bit (lol)
Outlook express 64 bit
Internet Explorer 6 64 bit

Can't XP64 handle 32bit programs?

EDIT: I thought there was some emulation mode?
Yes and yes.

Really the only things you have to make sure are 64 bit or specially 64 bit compatible are your antivirus and some more core programs. That's why I use 64 bit .NET framework, and 64 bit java. Avast! antivirus works great for 64 bit.
Other than those things you can get all 32 bit programs and be fine. Except in Internet Explorer 64 bit, there is no 64 bit flash player, so that won't work. :(
But at least there is 64 bit java for IE 64 bit.
Other than that everything great. :D

BTW ATITool is also designed for 64 bit.

Farcry didnt run in windows x64 for me :(

Im back on the 32bit XP Home, since x64 was actually a tad slower.

I don't see why it wouold be slower. In everything I read x64 was supposed to run 32 bit programs just as fast as normal and in some cases there were actually 1-2% performance increases on 32 bit programs! It runs blazing fast for me, Internet Explorer has never been soo speedy. Well I didn't try farcry, but every game I have tried so far works flawlessly on 64 bit windows.
Perhaps check the installation folder when it is installing it. It should be installing itself to Program Files(x86), not Program Files.
