the motherboard i got only supports +1.5v graphics cards so im gunna sell that and go for 20mm's idea and get a socket 939 motherboard and then get the Asus N6600GT TOP GeForce 6600 GT 128MB DDR TV-Out/DDR,

are u sure 128mb is fast enough?? also whats the best 939 motherboard

128meg of ram has nothing to do with speed. All the video cards on the market have enough ram except the 128meg Asus 6800GT.

Also, Dale has some good advice. 6600GT AGP are 1.5 volts though, so dont worry about it.

with a 4000+ and a 6600gt, just barely.

with a 3400+ and a 6600gt, dunno.

test setup was a 4000+, and they used the v66.93 nvidia driver, which is a little bit slower then the newer drivers.

With a 6600gt I'd expect to get some chop in online play, by chop I mean dipping below 60 FPS. You never listed a budget, so I won't even attempt to make a suggestion. Good luck

The 6600GT will do fine and not let you down, unless you crank up AA and AINSF
