Socket 939 is for iAMD
LGA775 is for Intel

The CPU is LGA775 The mobo is LGA775. They are compatible.

Yea I know that but LGA775 isn't the same from soket 939 you said it was earlier.

Just because it is 64bit does not mean it uses 939. The newer intel's 32 and 64bit use lga775.

OK I was just wondering because I don't know much about Intels because they suck and charge you too much. but I didn't see anyting on the product info that it was a 64 bit since I don't know much about Intel, sorry.

Intels dont suck. When you play games it really does not come down to what CPU you use but what you got for a graphics card.

I had trouble with this memory in running dual channel with the Barton +2500 XP at higher FSB speeds and wound up getting the high end Mushkin LII V2 which had a lot of good reviews.

will that affect me cause i have windows xp

No you should be fine. They were talking about an AMD cpu not intel.
