Just wondering, is there any way for me to connect my VCR to my PC, and then record to my HD?

Any input would be great. Thanx

You need a video capture card.

Or you can use a breakout box. It's usually a RCA to USB cable. All software rendering. Pinnical makes a good one (I have it, works great for non-digital media).

don't think twice about it get this for $52:

the picture output/ input is excellent. lets you record to multiple video formats and is extremely customizable. super videoCD quality is excellent . it has four (4) composite(RCA) and super video inputs and outputs. if you get it make sure to use only the drivers from ati website not the CD. you need catalyst and multimedia center drivers only, hydravision is worthless.

do not pay for the $10 CD to get the decoders, all you need is to install a dvd player and you get the codecs for free, after that the movie player works 100%. plus the 3D quality is good for that price
