M Miroku Beta member Messages 4 Oct 26, 2003 #1 I brought a new Geforce Fx5600 for gaming and installed it and the latest drivers. When I try to play a game it freezes during cutscences or at menus ( where u select singleplayer, multiplayer, options, etc.) Does anyone know how to fix this?

OP OP M Miroku Beta member Messages 4 Oct 27, 2003 #6 AMD Athlon XP 1900+ 512 mb ram Pc1200 ddr Sound Blaster audigey 2 Geforce Fx5600 256mb Windows Xp Motherboard=Aopen Ak-77 pro could it possably have anything to do with the AGP options i have fast writes disabled its on 256mb and its on 4x.

This option should be set to either 64mb or 128mb, with your video-card and your amount of RAM, for best performance. Sorry for mentioning this if it's not true -- I don't mean any disrespect, but it's a common misconception..
