compaq upgarde

hey dudes can you tell me what do i need to get for this compaq computer so i can play DOOM3....this what i have

intel celeron 2.4
mobo:glendale chipset:i845gl
ram:128 ddr-sdram
intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV GRAPHICS CONTROLLERS

of ypu can tell me what parts that would be cool....do you think it would be worth it?

Does the mobo have an AGP port? You are going to need some graphics... plus memory, and probably CPU...

New CPU and graphics card will run about $400 and up.
