for games, no doubt the AMD, although overall they'd probably be pretty close in performance, but once you start OC'ing that AMD it'll easily pass the Intel.

Well okay after being talked into AMD by other sources aswell the next thing I'm buying for my rig is going to be a motherboard hence the topic.

So what's the best AMD motherboard for gaming? With alot of features and stuff what you'd expect to find on a decent case. I mean does the Gigabyte GA-K8NS Ultra-939 get beat down by a mobo? Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe seems to sound good.

take a look for a DFI mobo either the Ultra D or one of the SLI ones if you want alot of features for overclocking.

I can get that in the UK and the price is pretty good, but is that the best for gaming? I don't care about value for money really just performance for high end gaming.
