Well one guy at xtremesystem remove a couple resistors...yes completely removed them lol and put them in different spots trying to turn his X800XL into an X850PE haha. Nothing even happened to his card either! His plans didn't work though, so he just switched them back no problem lol

lol most of them do, tons of people with X850XTPEs and whatnot, just soldering away. Makes my stomach churn
