okay so i went to go look at how amd cpu's run there ghz compared to the number in front of it. so i'm looking and i figure that 2800 is 1.8 ghz. 3000 is 2.0 ghz...well i stumbled across a 3000 clocked at 1.8 ghz...what gives?
You are mixing up 754 3000+ which is 2000Mhz to a 939 3000+ which is 1800Mhz....Both the same in the end...939 actully faster because of dual channel ram, improved core, does more per Mhz ect.
MasterJason, your sig is too long
anyway, that's correct. the socket 754 3000+'s run at higher frequencies to the socket 939 3000+'s because socket 939 has better technologies, and mkes it faster
