Why the hell would you use an AMD FX for a server???
A server setup like that would call for a Dual Opteron setup.

Well, I only need it to operate 5-6 workstations, and my knowledge is limited when it comes to Opterons/Xeons, especially when you factor in registered RAM and anything else servers require.

Maybe I'll post all the workstations on here when I'm done for you all to comment on.
