replacing my video card

The video card should like css. It seems to me that counter strike and ATI are gay with each other because they like each other so much. However, ATI and doom 3 haven't been too good after Doom 3 was caught cheating with Nvidia...

Well here is the update, I was browsing around steam's website and found that if you go into the directx diagnostic tool, then the sound tab and turn off hardware acceleration. I did this and just finished playing for two hours with out a crash. I'll have to give it a ten hour test, lol. The same site also said if you have a soundblaster card, makse sure its in one of the top most three pci slots. I have mine in the third down, because I have a huge slot fan exausting the video card's heat out the back.

I have usually heard that when you have the vid card on the top that you want your sound card all the way at the bottom as far as possible away from the vid card. I think having the vid card at the top and the sound card at the bottom is the best way to go.

Well that was on the steam webpage. I could move it to the bottom.

I just played for css and it had the same problem in under thirty minutes.

Now HL2 crashed on me in under half hour of game play. Now its even more strange. I thought I could fix it, but now idk.
