i have a mATX based PC in my Toyota 4Runner. I am currently trying to expand/upgrade the snot out of it, mainly by adding usb devices and extending an internal DVD drive to the front of the car, away from the guts in the back.

i want to power the devices using my PSU. I know the molex has 5v and 12v on one line, with 2 grounds...

if i need to power up to 2 4-port usb hubs (5v, maybe like 2 amps a piece) and the internal DVD drive, what would be the best solution (Step by step please, i'm not good with this stuff)...?

i have 16g wire that i will run to the front potentially... the reason i need it to go with the psu is because i need the stuff to turn off :) obviously!

thanks in advance

Hmm, just get regular 4pin molex connector extensions I suppose. Seems to be the most logical, cheapest, and easiest.

do they make 14' molex extensions?

can i power 3 devices off 1 molex extension?

can the hubs take 12v? do i do 2 hubs off the 5v?
