WHERE is the VRAM?

Tonight I re-applied thermal paste to my GT's heatsink(s). btw, my temps seemed a little high, putting new paste on seems to have done the trick- but this is another story.

To the point: obviously the GPU sits in the middle of the board. Situated around the GPU are 6 or 7 chips with the name "Samsung...". Can someone confirm that these are RAM chips? I'll do a search for diagrams for this, but I'd thought I'd ask 'cos I'm lazy lol.

yea. they are. they are usually placed in a box patern around your gpu.
