Can anyone tell me of a ATX mid tower case with an acrylic window, that is light to carry.. perhaps for someone going to college next year that might need to take his comptuer home once in a while...

It depends on who makes the case. An acrylic window does not really add that much weight, so you should be fine. You can find out the weight by reading the specs on the website you are getting it from.

...are you trying to get this home by car or by plane? Cauze if it's by car, then it's pretty easy to do. Or you could mod your computer so is smaller...
