there is nothing wrong with netgear. Products get bad a bad name sometimes due to a defective user. I use them in a business as well as residential environments for my customers and no one has a problem with them. Same goes with Linksys. Its like intel vs amd....ati vs nvidia nissan vs toyota. Good luck with whatever you buy. Both are easy to setup.

Ok man. I appreciate the info. Do you use that Linksys router? I'm wondering about the range on it. I live in a detached Mother-In-Law suite about 150 feet away from where the Router will be, do you think it will work?

Mine will do 150 feet easy, I cant remember what model it is though. They should all specify frequency and maximum range.
