Problem w/ XP Temp. Accounts

When I log into my user-account in XP Pro, XP redirects me to a temp. account. I can still access all my files, but to do so, I must first navigate through the folders on the hard drive.

This reoccurring problem is a reoccurring one on my family's computer. All I know [about the source of the problem] is that it is not because of a virus/trojan/etc., because we have a secure system [and anti-virus programs to prove it].

Does anyone know what could be the cause of this reoccuring problem? I am assuming that it is something to do with XP.

yes, it is all legit... we've had it for about 6 months or so...

Have you tried deleting your personal user account, and then creating it again? (Be sure to backup your personal files to an alternate directory though).
