If I had a choice between the 2 Packs ( So then 2 Gigs ) of Corsair Value Select (Dual Pack) 184 Pin 512MBx2 DDR PC-3200 for 97.00 a pack ( so then 196.00 total) and a pack of ( 1 Gig )Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, (Twin Pack) 184 Pin 1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-3200

going with the 939 AMD 3200 or 3500... which would be better, im not looking into overclocking much, but i still might.

yeah ive got my mind set on that i think .. lol

so the 2 Gigs wont help? i know i should get 2 sticks of 1 gig.. so they can run in dual channel but

AHHH i dont know

Yeah and just get 2x512 if you are going to get that RAM, unless you plan to do something amazing with it...1gig will be just fine, and it's cheaper.

why the hell would u need 2 gigs of ram if you're not tasking?

edit; don't get kingston value ram! they are teh sux0rs!

You can also use Critical online memery checker to check what type of RAM is best suited for your PC.
